Position is Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.  Federal holidays and the days between Christmas and New Year off.  Some work from home in unusual circumstances.  Perfect for someone with school-aged kids – work while the kids are in school, home when they get home.

Responsibilities:
• Organize files and keep up with filing
• Maintain various records and documents.
• Input data into various information systems.
• Various banking activities such as deposits and daily transactions.
• Receive mail and take appropriate actions.
• Filing, scanning, and mailing documents.
• Work on special projects, as necessary.
• Order office and maintenance supplies.
• Other additional duties as assigned, including personal assistant duties.
• Create and coordinate weekly bulletin and monthly newsletter
Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of administrative experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Has excellent computer skills including MS Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks Online is a bonus.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to multi-task, demonstrated ability to handle a variety of projects with competing priorities.
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects.
• Comfortable interacting with the pastor, church members, and visitors.
• Able to safeguard confidential church and personal information.
